Having just got through Xmas and New Year then a major international bike race (Tour Down Under) through the City and Adelaide Hills we are now moving into what is affectionally called by many as ‘Mad March’ . The following link provides a reasonable overview –
We have serious theatre, film, writers and music festivals going on to fringe activities in our parklands – the photos show some of the fringe activities – including a photo of my grandson. While we are just at the end of January fringe activities are already beginning in February.
The nice thing for us is that most of the activities happen just at the end of our street – as our home is on the edge of this small city – in walking distrance to everything.
So thinking of coming to Adelaide – then Mad March is the time to come
There is magic in the air in March because everywhere you look something exciting or entertaining or educative is happening.
This smorgasbord of fun attracts tourists. Some are here for the Fringe, some for the Festival. Add Womadelaide into the mix, and those here for Writers’ Week may stay until the long weekend.
Here are some suggestions for your first post.
